We invite you to explore the rich and varied perspectives of African Diaspora experiences from transatlantic cultures. Neither here nor there, the ‘in-betweenness’ and collective longing for our ancestral source affects our view of the world and galvanises us to continually demand for a dignified life without the persistent dehumanisation of colonial and post-colonial structures. This strand explores illusions about race, the possibilities of Afrofuturist worlds and the battle for individual, personal ideals.
