The first in a trilogy of three moving image works by award-winning artist and filmmaker Baff Akoto, Leave The Edges explores diasporic experience in West Africa, The Caribbean and Europe through movement, spirituality and music. This visually rich work combines portrait, vérité and performance to explore the lineage and complexities of African diasporic cultural expression.
