Synopsis
In the neighbourhoods of Kinshasa, bright LED lights illuminate the night sky. Power outages are frequent in the DRC’s capital and the residents of these neighbourhoods find creative solutions to the unexpected darkness. Originally conceived as a photography project and presented as a three way split screen, this short film explores what it means to live in light and darkness.
